Crispy Tilapia with Avocado Sauce

4 tilapia fillets
8 ounces of totilla chips (crushed)
1/4 cup salsa
2 tbsp chipotle peppers in sauce (gound)
1 tbsp lime juice
1 avocado
1/4 cup light sour cream
1 tbsp lime juice
1-2 tbsp milk


  • preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • combine the salsa, chipotle and lime juice together.
  • dredge the fillets in this mixture, then coat in the crushed tortilla chips and lay on a baking sheet
  • bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • while fish bakes, blend the avocado, milk, sourcream and lime juice together until smooth and consistency of a thick dressing
  • serve sauce over fish
