New Refrigerator!!!

So yesterday our fridge stopped.....again.  .......no lights, no sound no cold. 

This is the third time.

ok.......Clean it out....move everything that can be moved and take out what really doesn't have to be that cold....take stuff to the cold room...throw that away cause it's almost gone.....  do this before work, while getting kids ready for school.....

whew!.......it's empty.

Now, just let me say that we have had this repaired on-site twice before, and paid the hefty repair bill, so we weren't especially surprised that it went for a kicker again.  As it's only about 5 years old, we assumed that we got the dud made that day at the factory. 

So yesterday we decided.......

.....new fridge.  definitely!

We scrounged the papers last night for who had the sales and best deals, we made measurements on what would fit into the space.... first thing tomorrow.....new fridge.

Today....out first thing.....find one that fits...wow they have 3 to choose from that will fit into the space....ok great....arrange delivery....pay for the additional warranty.....woohoo!  job done!

Now home to get that beast out of the kitchen.

.....why did the light come on when I moved the fridge..................





oh yes......



......mental note that even if the fridge has stopped working in the past, I should check the power connection to see if it's loose before assuming it's broken......

Clearly we are all flawed.
