Another snowy day

I can feel the difference...the snow is still here but the air feels warmer somehow. I think it's the sun....it's ready to come out and play every day, now. I can actually sit outside on my deck, and feel the warmth of spring trying to peek through the callous cold of winter. It's coming.....

....or at least I think it is...

Happy Easter everyone!

Ethan was DYING for a guitar.....it was the Wii - guitar hero game bug that bit him hard!!! After hearing about how he wanted this so so so so so so much...we finally caved. So, happy early b-day big guy!!! He is now the proud owner of a brand new electric guitar and amp.....OUCH! no, not really expensive but LOUD! WOW! Luckily it comes with a headphone jack! LOL!

I set up a poll off to the side, and am looking for some input as to what ya'll wanna see in the next Skribblz collection. I've heard from a few that they like the graphics, so feel free to vote, email me or post your comment as to what you would like to see more of, in the future.

New Creative Series Releases

The new Spring '08 collection has arrived! Weeeeeee! ......and by arrived, I mean it's done.


So here's your first peek at what's coming for this season.....

There are 3 new categories: botanical, shapes and critters. Here's one from "Shapes".


...and yes, I try not to be but sometimes I'm biased in creating funky things for boys. I just love little man stuff!

On Scrapbooking...

I'm not scrapbooking.

I've actually 'graduated' from the Just Cre8 design team and am now an honorary member of their design team alumni. Can you believe it!? I never thought I would have another alumni designation after I graduated from Trent! LOL!!! I hope I still get a kit every once in a while and that they don't forget about me! I'm still a diehard JC8 girlie....with just a few other obligations on my plate, now.

Seriously, it was just too much ....I hate that constant feeling of being overwhelmed......... and besides, I want to scrap for me again....something I haven't done in......um........I guess for well over a year.

Wow.

How did things change so completely? How did I go from someone who loved my creative expression and spending every available moment immersed in my craft......to this? Stepping into my first DT gig with Scrapshotz.....I really thought I wanted the whole DT thing.

I guess I'm just not design team material. I lose it. My mojo goes on vacay. Not good.

The upside though......I am finding my voice. I've had some serious lessons in the past 2 years, starting with my uncle's sudden death. .....and I actually think I'm learning those lessons. I do know, that I don't like to run my butt off......that's not me. I can't and don't want to. This whole super-mom headset......well, that's not me. I am only one person.

Now, if I can just stop feeling obligated to justify myself, that will be perfect.

Baby steps (this is the part of growing up that I really dig!)
