Happy May 24!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend with lots of good times and friends to surround you!

We had some family over on Saturday....it's so nice for the cousins to see each other! Then held a BBQ and bonfire on Sunday. Mohitos all round! Great friends and some good fun is always a remedy for the weekend blahs.

We have chosen to sell the trailer and say goodbye to our trailer-trash days. LOL! It's just too much to take care of both properties (there's just not enough time) and drive back and forth! Anyways, we listed it last Wednesday and negotiated an offer on Sunday....can you say FAST!?!?! The new people are very nice and looking forward to getting settled. I am NOT looking forward to cleaning out our belongings or saying goodbye to all of the friends we've made over the past two years. That's the hardest part....saying goodbye............

Ok, back to work...I just wanted to pop on and say HI!

A little playtime for Mommy

Guess who got to spend the better part of the day in her SB room??? Yup, you guessed it! ME!!!!!!!!!!! I can't show you what I did cause it's TOP SECRET but I am ooh soooo in LOOOOOVE with the latest kit at Just Cre8! It'll debut on the 15th so you'll have to wait until then to peek at what I did!

We're hoping for a nice weekend of sunshine for Mother's Day! We are blessed to still have both our Moms around to spend the day with us and we're looking forward to celebrating them on their special day! Mom and Mom, I love you! Thanks for always being there!

Spring is here!!!

.....and the projects begin! LOL....isn't that the way it always is? As soon as the nice weather comes we want to get outside and start fixin' and primpin'! I've just finished mulching all the gardens and I was going to post a picture but I figured noone would want to see piles of wood chips! LOL! We moved the firepit last weekend and had our first official bonfire in the new one, this past weekend. Great fun! We've also added two yards of sand to the sandbox, much to the delight of our boys! They love that thing!


The new addition this year is our trampoline!




















They are spending hours just jumping around on that! No major injuries so far so I'm hoping it was a "SAFE" investment.


We have bigger plans to re-do the front courtyard and step.....we've had to fix pretty much everything that one of our contractors did because it was done improperly. Man, you sure do have to be careful who does work for you! Then, we'll be completing some stone work along the driveway. We're REALLY hoping to be done landscaping once and for all this year. It's been 7 years of frustration, so it's time it was all finished properly.


I'm really looking forward to a relaxing summer. We're making some changes and simplifying things a little, so I'm sure I'll enjoy this year.
